    Wow I didn't even know there was a Jesus Coin just checked on ebay, little to expensive for me, have to save up some extra money to get one, I really like it, thanks for sharing....

    I have seen these well worn (flat faced) for $5 but one with facial details will cost more like $50-100. A problem with facing portraits of any kind is that facial details like noses tend to disappear. The cheapest Jesus coins are the cup shaped trachy of the late Byzantine period but the Christ side is usually the weaker of the two so a good one of these may be a bit high. Low grade examples of the type (first below) with Mary on the convex side might have a clear reverse with Christ (right) crowning the emperor Andronicus (left). rz0625bb2497.jpg
