I got it with my C&C set this week. I am not a paper guy but nonetheless it is pretty cool. Collectible?

    Really cool note.

Would also be cool to have the preceding note ( E00009999A )

I'd keep it...I saw a $100 note at a show (Fredericksburg, Va?) that had all 7's.

Yea, I would keep it also. Would get some kind of picture frame also to keep it clean and no folds.

I will just keep it in the set, heck I might sell or trade it for a Kennedy one day.....I bought for the coins so the bills are not that important to me. I just have to get an idea of value.

Interestingly enough, this is a bit more than I suspected. I can not find a similar example but the term Binary note is used a lot and they are not Binary numbers, mine however is....and could be a BIN,HEX,OCT or DECIMAL note...how about that?

10,000(DEC), 10(HEX), 20(OCT) or 16(BIN) depending on how you want to read 00010000.

    I have found so far....

Well now I am in shock. Mine is not a star note, yet it is part of a Mint Set with a Coin. Its also called a 7 of Kind Bill...Closest I can see is a 1981 est. $250. I think I am sure I hit one from the mint..

The website is pretty cool, check it out.....then check your paper money!!!

    also have a 'step' note........[IMG]

But it is the Binary one that is the rare part, real rare.......so much so that it is worth more than a MS70 of the coin and worth more than the price I paid for the 5 sets....this is an interesting journey...

I also have many Kennedy's of different sorts, bills I have never given a second thought to, the more I learn about this the more I know the Mint gave me a nice gift......

Something to consider about this note is that it came in a Coin and Currency Set. Many C&C Sets feature bills with something "special" about their serial number. Sometimes it is a specific range, or they start or finish with a specific number, it's often something.

Your bill may even be quite unusual for the particular range that they are putting into this specific C&C Set. I would investigate to see what the bills from other sets have for serial numbers in order to determine how special this bill is in relation to the set.

If it is interesting enough to be desirable to collectors, (as I think it will be), then this C&C Set itself will command a large premium and it would behoove you to value it not as a singular note, but as a C&C Set with a premium note in it.

I believe you are correct and I am being offered money for the note, but not yet the set and I too think that is where the value would lay...sadly I know the coin is not a MS70 which hurts the value some but again, the driver is the note.

Nice note. Definitely has a premium being 7-of-a-kind and True Binary. Looks to be in tip top shape too. As @mikenoodle suggested, you might want to research how many 7-of-a-kind and True Binary's are in the set. Is it 1/1, 1/50 or ???

I would be inclined to say it is worth having it graded. However I don't know if that technically breaks up the set or affects its value negatively. Might very well still be worth having it graded. Maybe you could get everything in the set graded and somehow have it remain a set.
