I want to start this with aknowledging the members here in the Ancients Forum. I've been in other forums on other sites, but this is a great community. Most are generous sharing what they've learned with us new comers to ancients. The generousity doesn't stop there. There are members that go out of their way. This would be a very long thread to name everyone. There are a few I'm sure know I'm refering to. After the holidays I received a PM that just took me by complete suprise. A few days later it was followed by a package in the mail. I'm so moved by the generousity. The holidays here weren't exactly the greatest because the week before Christmas my mother in law passed away. While I'm sure she hated me I had a lot of respect for her and she will be missed. I really just wanted to take the time to thank you guys and ladies. And thanks @Sallent for this awsome gift. It's going to be a goal to update my photography set up within the next few months, it's definately lacking. This coin is so shiny it was difficult to shoot. That coin looks familiar. I'm happy to hear you liked it, and I'm glad it went to a great home. Here are my current Gordian III coins: Plus I have one more denarius yet to photograph!
I lack all but one of those and a Pax. The Pax reverse is on my "to get" list. Zeroing in on Vespasian/Pax.
