Issued from 1761-1799 (on and off), the 1761-4 period is expensive (but these are the nicest design wise).</p><p><br /></p><p>1765-86 will be the ones that might turn up problem free but they&#039;d look hideous in low grade. The 1787-99 issues are generally around in better grades and don&#039;t look as bad, but these Spade guineas were very popular with Victorians for jewelry purposes and thus nice looking ones gradewise will often be ex-mounts or holed. The early ornamental shield ones pre-1787 didn&#039;t pull the Victorian&#039;s in, but they rathermore saw alot of use.</p><p><br /></p><p>I still haven&#039;t had a full guinea piece!
