Gold plating my own bullion

    I didnt do it myself, but due to my job in a jewelry company, i have access to one, what do you guys think? the ponytail is too fine to risk though, as once you paint over an area, it is not possible to reverse it.

    The TV coin con artists love to sell gold plated silver bullion. Someone else is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there is any legitimate market for it. IMHO, a waste of good gold.

    the actual gold used on making any of these "gold plated" coins is neglible, less then $1 for sure.

    @Brett_in_Sacto : which forum do you suggest? Do you mean another forum in cointalk or an entirely different website?

    I was just thinking this was more numismatic design rather than bullion. Not trying to run you off.
