These bars were very famous in Cambodia and Vietnam and many refugees fleeing communism and war would sell all their belongings and transfer their money into the bars and do their best to take a boat to a friendly country and start a new. These bars were hidden in suitcases and clothing to keep from theft but also was very hard on the material as it bends very easy.
