Gold Bicentennial Kennedy

The wife was delighted to find this “gold” Kennedy. I’ve found several gold Kennedy’s in rolls, including a couple of ‘64s but this is the first Bicentennial

    Nice find. Could be toning, but I think people used to plate these as novelties. Always fun to have.

    To my knowledge, the Mint didn't produce any gold Bicentennial Kennedys.

    They didn’t. In 2014, the Mint produced a gold Kennedy for the 50th anmiversary of the coin.

    I see these gold-plated coins quite often. Worth face value, but fun to find.
