Gold and prices

    I have not scanned through Ebay for a while. It looks like people do not seem to be as willing to buy some low mintage sets of pieces from the last few years with large premiums. Completed listings are way more that 60% red unless a good deal was struck.
    A year ago or so I bought a number of spouse coins for near melt . Even some 69 & 70s of Abigal Adams went cheap.
    Now it looks like the "Lady Liberty" pieces will make really nice small sets.
    Money is being spent very carefully on collecting these days.

    That is because the economy is down and prices are high. i would be buying silver at this point but not gold. i might do factional gold but not 1 oz. even silver is getting up there. the other issue is selling it. finding a buyer can be difficult at this time as well.
