Going to my First Coin Show!

    ......and never, never, never tell a dealer, "Well, so and so has this coin for such and such a price." If you want to offer a lower price, fine, but if a dealer rejects it, just thank him for his time.

    I already know all of lost dutchmans rare coins are going to be a reasonable price. Due to their reputation and such.

    Should I bring a redbook, loupe, and cotton gloves? Also anything else besides a list?

    I think most venues should have an ATM near enough, so you'll be OK. But setting a budget is prolly a good idea LOL

    Take your ma and pa with you. When you see a coin you want look at them and tell them, "gee ma, gee pa this would make a nice Christmas present", then give them a wink.

    Always keep your hands where the dealer can see them if coins are out. If for some reason you need to reach into your pocket or move them under the table, wait until they see you have nothing in your hands.
