The coin frequently shows up at the major shows in a variety of conditions.</p><p><br /></p><p>The 1795 half dollar is also somewhat common. I have handled four of them in my time as a collector and dealer. I bought one at a show at a then premium price of $1,500 for one in VG and sold it to a collector before the show was over.</p><p><br /></p><p>I have mounted an exhibit of the 1795 coins twice. It is a far easier set to do than the 1796 set, which almost impossible unless you have &quot;unlimited&quot; funds.
