Do you like playing different roles? (Weren't you a king, or king of a dungeon earlier?)

Do kings like to be psychiatrists?

And you're the CEO of Brooklyn, too?!

Wow . . . you're a busy man (with too much time on his hands!) :smile

    The jeffs

I used to feel that way too. Never cared to collect them.
But then I saw some mint state silver war nickels. Now I have two complete sets of Jeffersons, one ends with 2000, the best set [lots of BU]goes from 1938 to present. Then there is the 3rd set started. All 3 are in Danscos.
Have two stand alone sets of the eleven war nickels now too.
Then I have 2 sets of mint state Westward Journey series.
Just today I searched only 5 rolls and here is what turned up:
    1941, 1947-S, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1953-D, 1956-D, 1960-D, 1962,
    1968-D, 1969-D & S, 1970-D &S, 2001 Bermuda 5 cent.
Where else can you find this kind of stuff for just 5 rolls?

    In praise of Jeffs

    Agreed.

Of all the coins in common circulation (i.e., cents thru halves), the Jefferson nickel series is the one that -- looking through change only -- one can find the highest proportion. (Does that make sense?)

With anything over a nickel, you almost never see a pre-65 coin, and with cents, wheaties are rare, and the ones that are found are almost never pre-1940. But, like you just showed, you can get dates in change going back to the beginning of the Jeff series, and I don't think you can say that with any other coin.
