We should explore why Jefferson Nickels bother you. When we resilve this conflict, you will become a more well rounded and happy coin collector. Why does Jefferson offend you. Do you love your Freedom or do you feel you should have more constraints in your life?

I know you didn't ask _me_, but . . . to me, it does. I'm not sure I'll ever own the main Lincoln Cent keys . . . (1909-S, S-VDB, 1931S, 1914D) . . . so, I'm not going to wait until my retirement to see if I have enough money to live an *and* to purchase those. So, in the meantime, I'll see how much of everything else in that series I can get.

And, in the end, if I have an entire Lincoln Cent collection, but with four holes, I'm OK with that. I'm not in it for the investment. I like the challenge of assembling a collection, but that doesn't mean I have to cross the finish line with each series I collect. Living out east . . . I don't even have a 2008-D cent yet (I've never seen one in person yet). That's OK -- part of my challenge is that for a coin that recent, I have to find it in change (going back to my roots when I *only* got stuff in change). If I still don't have it in 10 years, then maybe I'll pick it up for 0.50

I love my freedom more than anybody, my desktop background is Uncle Sam, I listen to country music that has meaning pertaining to america, if I was old enough, I'd fight for this country, I love my country more than anybody at my school, and I defend it when people bash it. (Illegals at my school, [San Antonio, ground zero for illegals])

 

Does Jefferson Nickels cause you to think about illegals? How can I make you feel more comfortable about talk about this?

No..I just don't like the design of the jefferson nickels, IMO they are junk coins.

 

Junk coins create strong feelings in you. Is that correct?
