This is my recent experience, all positive, which may be of interest if any CT members/readers are looking to sell for whatever reason: Coin World "buyers" section in the back of the publication have a number of companies buying rolls, certified coins, bullion in whatever form, and other odds and ends. Do your homework, call around, and if you get a high offer, ship with adequate insurance. They were all good for their word/offer, and sent fast checks. I sold some 90% locally at 11.7 when shipped I would have gotten 12.5 or so. There is some power lost when shipping; if you go to a local shop, you can watch the whole business transaction without worry. The last thing a buyer wants is to have to ship coins back to you, so if the buyer is disappointed upon receipt of your coins and makes a low-ball offer, no harm in having him/her ship them back to you. If anyone needs specifics contact me. I have no axe to grind in this matter.
Do your homework, shop around. Good advice for buying and selling coins. Education takes time, but you'll be paid nicely for it.
