I definitely miss y'all so much. I'm going to be here for a long time and to help new and to still learn some more lol!! For a while, my spirit broke. And idk why. But something sparked up in me. I thought to myself.. hmmm..I miss this Soo much. And my coin family that i gained here. The coin I posted was given to me by one of y'all. I took a picture of this coin a couple days ago. Still in perfect condition
Shrewsy…Hello and Welcome Back! It’s been a while since we heard from you, but here’s what I think: I think we all have ebb and flows of numismatic nature so don’t feel like the Lone Ranger. Just feel good about what and how you do. We’ll be here for you, there’s a lot of people here that care about our members. And remember to have FUN!… BTW, THAT is a gorgeous Italian 10c…that was centimes back then, I think. …imo…Spark
Good to see you back. I've had periods where I've gotten away from collecting but have always come back...in my blood I guess. Bruce
Welcome back, Rebecca! I think we’ve all had our “ebbs and flows” with our collecting. It’s good that you found that spark again and that you came home to CT.
True. When I was Shrew’s age and there were more distractions in my life, I'd sometimes go months without even thinking about my coin collection. As I’ve gotten older, those “ebbs” have shortened from months to weeks, and they’re fewer and farther between. But it’s still refreshing to take breaks. If I thought about coins 24/7/365 it would start to feel like work.
Welcome back. It does come and go without a doubt. Actually, I think I miss the folks around here more than actual collecting.
Sorry to sound like a broken record but coin collecting really is the Hotel California: ..."relax" said the night man, "we are programed to receive." You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave... Hotel California/ Eagles
