To celebrate (cope) my trip to the dentist, I stopped at the local shop and found a sweet denarius of Geta. I also got my first quinarius.

Bugger! I took my son to the Dentist yesterday, but I forgot to stop at the shop, and no coins from the Dentist - not even a 'Mint'.

Nice coins. I am envious. There aren't any coin shops near me. The nearest is 40klm away, in the big city. There is always eBay, I suppose.

"Stuff" is CN LENT. I have neither type. That is a nice Geta.

Nice coins and brilliant idea! Will definitely be soothing myself with some coins the next time I have to visit a dentist.

I generally go get a boilermaker after a visit to the dentist, but perhaps a visit to the local coin shop wouldn't hurt either (in addition to, of course).

Really nice Geta and I've been looking at some Cn. Lentulus Clodianus quinarii here of late.

Nice coins! I like the Geta denarius but the quinarius is a great addition also.

Well, I would go to the dentist more often if I came back with coins like that!

Great additions. Wonder of the little one could clean up more?

TY all. Couldnt pass up Geta when I saw it. I was originally going to get a nice RR denarius. Good news is I get to go back to the dentist XD The quinarius shows decent detail in hand, and I fear cleaning would ruin what I can make out.

When in doubt, get the RR denarius (my opinion).

A bad thing about finding coins at the local shop is it's harder to talk my self out of a coin

Hmm. I have a dental cleaning coming up and there is a tiny antique shop nearby which had some ancient coins last time I looked. It was at the very beginning of my ancient infection so I don't know if the coins were good or reasonable.

Now I'm looking forward to that dentist visit :).

In this case the reason for the visit (routine cleaning) is far less painful and much less of a hassle than finding parking and hiking up the hill to the dentist's office. As long as I have to go into town anyway, I may as well walk down to the antique shop and make the trip worthwhile :D.

Sorry, Randy Geki, but for the benefit of those of us are not 'teenage' smartphone addicts, in order that we can understand what you write, could you please explain your abbreviations TY, RR, XD, (or better still leave the abbreviations for your phone).
