Apparently this is pretty common with these sorts of issues. </p><p><br /></p><p>Another problem - by the time I left Germany in December of that year I noticed the coin had started to turn. The blue used to be much more apparent, and lots of yellow started to invade the coin. This may be due to the fact that I lived in a relatively humid climate and in the middle of the city, and kept the coin in a small envelope.
