I found this coin in a small collection that my uncle gave me. I know that it is not currency because it has no value on it anywhere.
The front depicts Wilhelm II of Wurttemberg and his second wife Charlotte.
The front reads (starting on.left and working clockwise) "WILHELM II KONIG" "CHARLOTTE KONIGIN" "VON WURTTEMBERG"
The back reads "REGIERUNGSANTRITT" with "6 OKTOBER 1891" in the middle.

Has anyone seen one of these before? Know what it is? I have not been able to find anything about it online.

    Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention, Wilhelm II was a German emperor and King. The date on the back is the date of his coronation.

Coronation souvenir, the German means reign entry. Probably a large number made, very modest value even in Germany.

Any idea what it is made of?

Different Wilhelm, by the way. :) The medal features king Wilhelm II of Württemberg; the other Wilhelm II (the emperor) was king of Prussia.

This is one of many private medals made during this era commemorating royalty coronations, anniversaries, weddings and deaths etc.
