Great information Lucky Cuss. Although a big collector and researcher of counterstamps, I know...or should I say knew...very little about anything other than U.S. and Irish issues. The history surrounding these Spanish pieces is most interesting to me. I've seen many examples of these and the one you posted an image of is certainly a prime example of one. Thanks for the links.
