Guy's what is going on here? George and his little girl have put up a comp for people to enjoy yet all I see is bickering!! Do you honestly think that this is what he wanted?
George I think would be within his rights to cancell this and start again.

by the way....funny story. i actually won a prize my senior year in high school for correctly guessing what hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia meant. I was the only one in my entire senior class to get it right

George has not let Thalia Elizabeth see this contest, lest she be disheartened, as I am, with the way that it has turned out.

Contest is now officially closed. I am going to sleep on what to do next and in the morning I will re-read the entries.

Next time we hit a milestone, I'll just quietly send more money to Peter, or perhaps put some more peanut butter on the local food shelf that we support.

 

Sorry to taint your milestone, if I won and you wish to void the contest I will completely understand I do see that i acted less than admirably

George can I sugest that you re run this comp but next time have all answers emailed to you allowing ONE answer per contestant and using a new set of letters or even perhaps getting them to guess how many coins Thalia has in her collection :smile
I have to say this openly guy's I am extreemly dissapointed in the way people behaved it realy was not in the spirit of what George and his daughter were setting out to achive

Well, I appreciate the support and the suggestions, but despite what happened here I won't go back on my word.

I have PM'd the winners and will send out the prizes -- I had a spontaneous additional prize.

Next time, different contest, different rules, different approach. But not sure when or whether there will be a next time.

I don't even know how many coins are in Thalia Elizabeth's collection... and we appreciate those here who helped add to that tally. You know who you are, and we thank you.
