That would have been an excellent interpretation of the rules as it does not violate any of the rules. It might violate the phrase before he says "One Thousand Posts" but just in case I submit neurophysiologically - 20, hopefully not considered a scientific term, but if it is, intercommunications-19.

All I'm saying is that it would be an interesting interpretation. My words do not use the letters contained in "One Thousand Posts" more than they occur in the phrase itself. It just adds some extra ones that were not explicitly contained in it. It also removes the "cheat" of using the anagram generators.

Um I see a bit of Anti Welsh bias creeping in here George  :D

To be plain: you may only use the letters in "one thousand posts", up to the precise number of times they occur only.

Example: There are three "s" s in "one thousand posts" -- you can use up to three "s"s, not four, five or six.

Letters not in the phrase cannot be used-- you cannot augment the letters in "one thousand posts" with any other letters.

No anti-Welsh bias here, really, but I'm sure that somewhere in Wales there's a railway station reading "STSOPDNASUOHTENO"--- and then it would all be over :D

Yes you beat me to the Anagram solver. No way anyone could come up with phototonuses on their own.

Actually learned about it in AP Bio, but thanks for assuming I'm an idiot

I'll be the first to admit that I used an Anagram solver to come up with "sousaphones" which you beat me to.

In the time span of nine minutes on 21 May you came up with answers of "sousaphones" , "snapshotted" and "phototonuses." Sousaphones and snapshotted were 2 minutes apart.

Apparently you took a British AP bio class as phototonuses is in the British Vocabulary. I have an A.S in Bio and also took AP bio in high school. umn 25 may have not used an anagram solver.

Using an anagram solver does not imply idiot...it's actually sort of a clever way to approach it. That said however, there is no way that that it is just coincidence that you came up with the exact words that were generated by that website in the span of just a few minutes.

Lets remember our code of honor gents!

    Coin Talk Code of Honor
    1. Post unto others as you would have them post unto you.
    2. Keep it clean, like a 1950s family television show.
    3. If you don't like the coin, don't trash the person.

Agreed. Don't think the intention of the contest was to find out who could type the phrase into a website and click a button to generate the answers. :high5:
