Though this Antoninus Pius of course predates Diocletian by quite a bit, I think this reverse is GENIVS POP ROMANI?

I love those Severus II coins... they aren't as easy to snag as some may think. I've been trying to get a good one at a good price for years. Nice coins!

Here's a Galerius from Ticinum that frustrates me. My photos aren't great so you maybe can't tell but that mess on his face is just green mineralization on top a nice portrait. It's not corrosion... the actual coin surface is in good shape.

A brave person who knew what they were doing may be able to remove it and have a very nice coin. When it comes to coins though... I don't trust myself to not ruin the coin if I tried to get the encrustations off. So, I'll leave it as is.

This coin is gilt on obverse…possibly done in antiquity, as the deposits look old.

Nice coins everybody - very attractive examples. Mine's pretty ugly, but it is the rarest emperor I own - Severus II.

Bing, the Genius figures on your two coins make an interesting comparison. The top figure looks like a weight lifter & the bottom figure looks like a long distance runner.

Those two are OK but 240° makes you think too much compared to 8H so I prefer the clock.

I took a few more follis coins out of the moth balls. The 1st coin had the silvering in such pristine condition I had to get it slabbed.

    Very nice!

Here's a Galerius follis from Alexandria when he was Augustus. Some may recognize this one.

maridvnvm, the die work on the reverse is exquisite & came from the hand of a great celator! I like the portrait of Constantine the Great too. He looks very unsettling with that piercing stare.....

Getting back to Antioch. I have just received this lump from Antioch. From a slightly earlier issue than the OP coin. it comes in at almost 10.5 gms which is towards the upper end of the noted weight range given by RIC of 8.75 - 11 gms. Mine shows more wear and surface issues but is still pleasing in hand and the 3d nature of the portrait (as mentioned in the OP) is more evident in hand then the image would imply.

I have always liked the sideways glance in the eye of Licinius and the furrows on his (worried?) brow.
Genio is sporting some muscular leg calves here.
