I do not mean any disrespect and hopefully am not angering anyone but I just cannot see why a holder would influence a purchasing decision. I understand a subjective grade by a grading company serves to give someone an idea of condition and worth. But, at the end of the day is it not the holders purpose to protect and preserve THE COIN which should be the focus. I have read all the posts on this forum and it is normal for people to express their opinions on what was asked as well as THE COIN itself. After all this site is named "CoinTalk".

Having said all that, and although I am new to collecting and realize I do not know much, I would not buy that coin. In my opinion there is no way that coin is a MS65. It has no luster, shows wear in many places, is well worn and the strike is very weak. Look at the lettering on the reverse, all of it seems very weak, especially the UNITED in United States of America on top. Like I mentioned. I am not trying to be disrespectful, but how that coin was graded a Mint State 65 baffles me...[/QUOTE]
