    The seller did note the presence of surface cracks from striking, the to do not pass through the coin, yet I would not attempt dropping it.

    If anyone is going to seriously collect Celts, can I recommend you get a copy of "The Forgery of the Hazelmere Hoard". It is 5GP from Chris Rudd's site, plus shipping. I have mislaid my copy, but there are some very interesting pictures under high magnification. If I ever find my copy, I will post a pic.

    - Stylized Horse left, pellets to left and below.
    Mint: Gaul (100-60 BC)
    Wt./Size/Axis: 4.84g / 18mm / -
