    Just got back from work:singing:
Easy answer, work=$=buying more nice coins:happy:
My 2017 goal is to add 50 new coins to my collection, from April to Dec. I go full bore, seven days a week, dawn to dusk. However, I have the whole Winter off to enjoy snowmobiling/ hiking with my Rottweiler/ enjoying my coin collection/ bidding in auctions. I have around 840 coins at present.

I now have at least one coin from every century back to 650 BC. Around 100+ from 1700-1799.

I don't have this one anymore. I sold it at a loss because I questioned the toning as AT and appeared to be cleaned. It rested in my 7070 for a few years until I decided to break up and sell most of the collection. I still have an 1859o in a PCGS VF25 slab. One of these days it too will go.

Thanks. Rather poor pictures of that one. Though a modest-grade example, it had a nice little hint of color in the semi-iridescent peripheral toning on the reverse. That was from my last 7070-style type set. I've done that collection several times, it was so much fun. I tip my hat to all the 7070 type set collectors, no matter how humble or awesome their sets may be.

I saw a PCGS MS67 RD example of one of those, once. That was an impressive sight, let me tell you! I love the type.

Latin phrase "PARVA SUB INGENTI", translated as "The small beneath the great"; large oak tree symbolizing England sheltering 3 smaller trees symbolizing PEI's 3 counties.
Minted at the Heaton mint but no mintmark.
PEI's government would experience difficulties in placing the coins in circulation—10 years were needed for the government to get rid of them.
The last of the coins were sold at a 10 percent discount.

I went through my albums and pulled out a lot of my older coins to scan. Hopefully I can keep up with this thread. Here are some 1871s. 1871 a france 10 centimes.jpg 1871 belgium 2 centimes.jpg 1871 canada 5 cents.jpg 1871 jamaica half penny.jpg 1871 sweden 1 ore.jpg

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond I've been tied up with some family issues that have kept me away from CT for the last week and a half.

I think the pace has been working really well. I don't think we need a hard fast rule necessarily but I would say as a guideline It is acceptable to flip the date if the thread has been inactive for 24+ hours.

It has been a ton of fun catching up on this thread! Wow you guys and gals have some cool stuff! :) I unfortunately missed a few of my favorite dates but I should be able to jump back in a few times here in the 1860s.
