Why we have so quickly finished 1888? I haven't managed to take part:pompous:

Some do go by more quickly! Nothing wrong with a little time warp...add the ones you want and then get back to 1887. Rules pffft. And it's not like we don't all miss a page or two and get confused anyway.

Here is my 1887 for the day:

It does seem reasonable to allow at least 12 hours between date changes though. Gives people in different time zones and on different schedules a bit of a chance. When the game first started and we were flying by it seemed if I had to stop and crop photos I might have missed my chance to play. Glad it slowed down a bit.

I've been late on many dates because the thread has shifted while I'm at work : no problem we can participate later (earlier, actually) to another date

I'll bump this down to 1886 (Meiji 19 in this case): A bit of a rotated die which the NGC prongs make easy to identify!

I was just getting ready to post...had new photos of an old coin and was doing that cropping/knitting together thing. When we started I'd have been left in the dust, but now we've slowed down so I had time.

1885, M.18. This year is known for having nice half sens.
