1814 is getting tricky for GB coins - all I have is this Eighteen pence token:

I picked this up from French Auction as "unsold" lot for 1000euros/ great deal. The original coin that I lost (Brabant MS Mouton d'or/ Jeanne & Wencelas went quadruple its estimate(9000euros)/ so ended up with cheaper coin. Mints other then Paris "A" Lille "W" are hard to obtain. fmd_654618 (1).jpg

Here is my 1814/13 from Spain/ that coin was $$$/ got into bidding war/ $2800 big mistake. But now I am glad to have it. I picked up 2 wins in CNG auction/ so will have to work hard to pay for them. lf - 2023-09-21T064420.579.jpg lf - 2023-09-21T064403.703.jpg 761_1.jpg 188_1.jpg

As mentioned before GB coins during the Napoleonic war were not produced much, so the slack was taken up by companies producing tokens. Here are a few:

I guess I could research it, but I wonder why GB/England didn't mint coins during the Napoleonic wars. It seems to me that war moves grows an economy and expands the monetary supply. Was GB paying non-British mercenaries, and sending all the money outside of the country? Hmmm . . . .

Anyway, here are my three 1813s. Two are Denmark duplicates but different conditions. The other is half of Chris B's Essequebo & Demarary stiver.
