St. Helena, half penny, 1821. I read that a lot of these were made and they were used for a long time. The obverse looks like EIC Design, probably Soho mint.

That is a very artistic design, super skillful engraving work. I may as well upload another 1821...a British farthing.

The further we go back in time/ the more beautifull the engraved designs/ they had great mint masters/ engravers from 1650-1800/ esp. the coinage from the Holy Roman Empire/ German States.

Nice, coin nut! It definitely is Frankfurt - https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces9155.html. Yours is in much better condition than my 1821 Frankfurt am Main . . .

Nice/ the USA struck way nicer coins in 1800s/1700s!!!!!
Fact most "modern" coins are plain ugly/ except for Great Britain/ they still use classic designs.

Some assorted Netherlands East Indies 1821. Not the prettiest of coins, still fit in with my VOC collection and have some history about them.

    OK - 1820:
Two GB Halfcrowns - we changed monarch that year and unusually coins were issued with both heads. Then a Russian Poltina and a tea token with the 1820 date, though referring to the date of establishment of the company.

    Two 1820s . . .

First an 1820 shilling/12-pence graced with Georg III. I did not know 1820 was two kings in one year on the coins.
    pence-12-1820-km666.jpg

Then a Duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, or Saalfeld for short, one pfennig. Ernst I was the duke (ruled 1806 through 1826). She's seen some use, heh?

Yes - but only for the halfcrown. There are no 1820 George IV examples in any of the other denominations as far as I know.
