That portuguese coin is one of my absolute dream coins. I love this portrait of King Miguel and the elegant coat of arms on the reverse. Its really sad that the King only minted his portrait on gold coins (at least from my budget perspective).

I like Portuguese/ Brazilian coins a lot. From my view they are more affordable in high quality/ have low mintages/ then British/ other European ones.

NOTE: NGC got it wrong/ its not a 1/2 Zeri Mahbub/ but a 1/2 Hayriye Altin. Also some rare AV coins are affordable/ this one cost me $228 including fees. lf - 2023-07-14T071510.873.jpg lf - 2023-07-14T071103.251.jpg

To compliment wittwolf's coin from Sardinia....
Got mine from Nomisma Auction/ it remained "unsold" so I snagged it in aftermarket sale.

OK - will do. All I have are British. In order: Shilling, Sixpence, Penny, Halfpenny, Farthing and Third farthing. Of these the trickiest to get hold of is the sixpence - took me years before I found one at an affordable price!
The 1827 penny is rated very scarce and prices much higher in the books because the bulk of the issue was sent to Australia. A lot were lost in shipwrecks and those that survived are badly corroded by the salt air in shipping.
