Great Britain (or, if you prefer, United Kingdom, but I don't think UK was applicable in 1891) 1891 half penny.

    Some British history:

In 1801 it {Ireland} formally joined with Great Britain as a single political entity, which became known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland—or the United Kingdom for short. However, the union lasted only until 1922, when Ireland (with the exception of six counties in the north) seceded. Ireland soon became a sovereign republic, and its former partner took on the official name of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Prior to Ireland joining the UK.
In 1707, the kingdoms of Scotland and England united to form the Kingdom of Great Britain. After the death of Elizabeth I and the accession of James I to the throne of England in 1603, Scotland, England, and Ireland entered into a personal union, the three remained separate kingdoms ruled by the same monarch. England and Scotland were united by the Acts of Union ... in 1707, forming the kingdom of Great Britain.

Ireland had become a kingdom in personal union (separate kingdoms ruled by the same monarch) with the Kingdom of England in 1542, when Henry VIII claimed sovereignty over Ireland. As in the above paragraphs, when Great Britain was formed, Ireland continued in personal union with Great Britain, until the UK was formed.

Going farther back into Irish-Anglo history, I found this interesting timeline.
Ireland, meanwhile, had effectively been an English colony since the 12th century, https://www.britannica.com/story/whats-the-difference-between-great-britain-and-the-united-kingdom
    and
The Anglo-Norman invasion of Ireland took place during the late 12th century, when Anglo-Normans gradually conquered and acquired large swathes of land from the Irish, over which the kings of England then claimed sovereignty ... The Norman invasion was a watershed in Ireland's history, marking the beginning of more than 800 years of direct English and, later, British, involvement in Ireland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Norman_invasion_of_Ireland
