[Game] World Coins Time Machine… Counting Backward by Year! (Plus Prize Coin)

Mas Dinero, Por Favor! I've got a few of these Peruvian silver Dineros, they're kind of neat. One of my goals is to have a coin from every country in the world - so far I have 91 countries according to my Numista inventory (Love that free inventory tool!) in South America I still need Ecuador, Suriname and Paraguay. I prefer to get older (early 20th century or 19th century) silver coins when I can find a deal.

I like that the Coat of Arms on the reverse has a little Vicuña in it - Vicuñas are relatives of the llama, and are now believed to be the wild ancestor of domesticated alpacas, which are raised for their coats. Vicuñas produce small amounts of extremely fine wool, which is very expensive because the animal can only be shorn every three years and has to be caught from the wild. When knitted together, the product of the vicuña's wool is very soft and warm. The Inca valued vicuñas highly for their wool, and it was against the law for anyone but royalty to wear vicuña garments; today, the vicuña is the national animal of Peru and appears on the Peruvian coat of arms (from Wikipedia).
