1979 - No gold here. Perhaps some silver and definitely some base metals.

DDR 20-mark. I think this is a repeat of Wittwolf's.

It is a Fijian banded iguana, this from the Zoological education dept
It is estimated that the Fiji banded iguana population has decreased by 50 percent in the last 35 to 40 years, and these iguanas are now extinct on some of the islands. They have experienced extensive habitat loss due to mining, forest burning, logging and agriculture.

I guess I don't understand the game, I thought that you were supposed to go down a year, or stay on the same year. So when does 1977 come to play?

We have an unwritten agreement that we will allow 24 hours between the last post and the changing of the year, so that folks from far away time zones have a chance to post for a year. Welcome to the thread.

Some crowns to wind down 1978?

Ascension Island, Tristan da Cunha, and the Isle of Mann commemorating 25 years of HRH QEII's coronation. But she was actually queen for 26 years, or thereabouts.

So 1978 will have a full 24 hours of posting before going down to 1977? if correct, what time zone do I use as a reference?

Look back at other pages I see date changes within a few post, not anywhere near 24 hours, I re-read the rules, still don't understand when I can change the date to lower. Could someone clearify this for me, CONFUSED.
