We should start posting one date per day/24hours to give
others a chance to post. Just a thought.

You are right. Once again, I jumped the gun, too anxious. Please feel free to post your 1438 or 1439 coins.

I have been trying to get the Koln Goldgulden too. These are for some strange reason rare in MS quality. You would think some noble back then kept a few for his collection. I would have...

Okay! Since we have some 1436s, I'll add mine.

    Very rough condition. I have it identified as a 1436 and catalogued as EH# 450k. Thank you, Numista - https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces34648.html . . .

@DEA nice coin. In the Huszar reference as #578. My next coin
won't be until we get to 1429. After that 1425. I hope everybody
spent time with family and friends at Thanksgiving, for those
    who celebrate.

Gentlemen, for some reason they stopped notifying me of additions to this thread about 6 weeks ago and I assumed we had got stuck on a year and reached a dead end . How wrong I was ! It has been a pleasure to catch up with this series of always interesting and sometimes beautiful coins. Thank you, especially @tibor but others too.

For this thread to continue we need to find 1435 and earlier.
Any help? Maybe someone who collects Islamic coins.

I hate being a party pooper, but I stopped participating on this thread because of the rush to go backward in time took away from the fun of enjoying seeing many coins of that year.
