Levinson and Friedman have this type as being struck only in 1491, 1492, 1493 and 1497. If yours is 1495, it may be an unlisted date.

    1493 - I - 303 Mainz - R -2 copy.jpg
This Half Schilling was minted in Mainz. The 1495 piece that I saw a few
years ago had a definite shaped "5". This matches better with a 1493 that
I saw at the same time. I of course am looking for a much better upgrade.

This Schilling was minted in Damm. At one time it might have been in a
museum collection with the letter "K" in India Ink within the shield.

This Goldgulden comes in two varieties, one with a full date "1493",
or a partial date "93" which this is. The mint was in Frankfurt.
One of my first gold coin purchases.

This Blanken was minted in Cologne. I bought a few years ago from a dealer
on MA-shops. With only 2-3 collectible per Levinson I feel fortunate to have it.

We are still a month or more away from the "1464" date. At this point in time
there are no known coins with that Anno Domini date. There of coarse could be
Islamic coins with that date. There will be others. From the year 1401 thru
1464 there are no known Anno Domini coins minted for approximately 18 years with dates. There are another approximately 17 years of Anno Domini that had coins minted but are not in my collection. I have coins for the other years. Hopefully we can enlist some collectors to share their coins in this game. Over at another forum
they have been waiting on the 1464 since Christmas of 2018. Any thoughts?

It is baffling why those old time collectors thought it a good idea to add a collector's mark in India ink

This Schilling was minted in Damm. It has a forward
facing "2" in the date. The caption should read I-288a.

A Briquet minted in Antwerp. For some reason I like
the Briquets as opposed to their brethren the Double
    Briquets.

I did not realize that there is an etiquette to posting. I thought that if it was
pertinent to the topic/conversation then it was OK to post a pic. Some of these
I have posted earlier, the same can be said of future posts dealing with this
thread. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong and what the rules are.

There probably is some sort of etiquette to posting, and it is no one's place to admonish or criticize you about your posts, other than one of the moderators. I say, you are doing fine and posting some great coins, both you and talerman.

Thank you, Coin Nut. I am relatively new to Coin Talk and don't know all the rules but I assume one is usually ok if one follows common sense and courtesy. I certainly welcome @tibor's postings, however many times he may have posted them on other threads. They are not only super-relevant to this thread but the thread would collapse without him.

This is a new addition from the past year. It is a Mariengroschen minted
in Aachen. I hope to visit Aachen one day, I believe it was Charlemagne's
    capital at one time.
