Why not have a monthly coin program by mail where someone could buy nice examples of coins on a fixed budget?&nbsp; Plus, the customer gets the excitement of opening a new mystery coin each month.</p><p><br /></p><p>&nbsp;I am not too lazy to hunt down my own coins on ebay, so that’s not why I am inclined to have wishful thinking about a program like this. I think it would honestly impose some discipline on what types of coins people add to their collection, it would also enforce discipline on the coin budget. Probably even more important or someone like me: I don’t know enough about coin grading, or trust myself enough even if I have a reasonable grade estimate on a given coin, to ever buy raw coins online or really even raw coins from a dealer. </p><p><br /></p><p>So, for example if a certain dealer that by consensus on Cointalk had a very lengthy and trustworthy reputation, a monthly program would allow raw coins to be delivered to willing buyers.&nbsp; Both parties win, since the dealer has a known pool of monthly members waiting to receive coins of a known series/theme, at a known fixed budget, and these coins could be sold to people like me who would normally never buy raw coins.&nbsp; The dealer also saves money but not having to list as many coins at auction sites, online dealer sites, taking pics of all coins, writing descriptions, or taking up retail space at a LCS.&nbsp; The customer also wins, since they get known good examples of coins, problem free, within the series they like, at a fixed budget they can afford, plus the added fun and excitement when opening the package.</p><p><br /></p><p>&nbsp;Phew, that was long winded!
