    I'm not so sure about ignorant part anymore. Based on this tone, I think he knows exactly what he is doing.

    Their reply was unprofessional. I liked your response. I should send them a message saying "I hear you're blocking people so that they cannot be scammed by you. Can you block me too? Thank you".

    Of course I'm not going to do that and ruffle their feathers, but it would be funny.

    Also, they can't block you from the entire site. That was a silly statement.
