lol. here is how you make a blue quarter:

Turn your broiler on high, place quarter on a baking pan. Insert pan into oven 5" from broiler. Sit back and create your ebay auction. After 5 minutes, remove quarter. Bam! someone owes me $750

If it is SO rare, then why was the other sold at an auction and was not in some mueseum?

I'd fine them in their state of residence. The bigger question is how much would you fine them?

Notice it is listed as a stamp error and not in the coin section?

lol. Ok guys, I messaged the seller with this:
"Just letting you know, your quarter was cooked in an oven. they turn blue. You owe me $750 for the lesson."

    Here was his response:

"show me. an oven baked quarter that is..im interested..never heard of anything so rediculous to be honest..and wouldnt the rim change blue as well? because mine isnt..and the blue color has perfect lines in it like it was caused when manufatured.i dont have time to hustle a fake blue coin my friend..if i wanted to do that id buy a permenant marker and sell you a purple one as well..but non the less i understand its strangeness factor and have decided to have the coin authenticated by a profesional with documentation..wich in turn ive been told will make the price of it much much higher than i have it set for..so it sounds like a win win to me..i make more money and have further proof to provide to all the sceptics out there..but i really do want to see this oven baked quarter you say you can make..ive ran into sceptics before with all kinds of ideas and assumptions on this coins creation but that one has intrigued me the most yet..if its any constelation ive never asked anyone else to "show me" there assumption before..look forward to vseein it"

So I will gladly cook up a couple quarters tonight and show him. Hopefully he will remove his posting. :)

Are you implying that everything I make isn't special? Also, they wouldn't be 'special' because I live in a state where they allow me to make 'special' kind because of this little card I have in my wallet. :)
