This is just sad, probably just put on as a practical joke. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-OF-QUAR...424?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19fb59bfd0 First off, I can not see a date, second off .99 cents ... $infinity shipping. I doubt that this is a 1943. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Possibly-19...807?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19fb4c01c7 1941 wheat cent in bad shape, what do you think, 5 cents? Well that is not the case here!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/MONEDA-1941-ONE-CENT-UNITED-OF-AMERICA-/231458444746? pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item35e3ff95ca Common greased die error, not worth more than $10. Well... Look how much this guy is charging! http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNIQUE-GRAD...974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item418fb6ef6e $100 in Ikes, I would pay $100 from my bank but that is just me. I bet that some people would pay $130 though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bags-Of-100...039?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ae453a1b7 A $30 Morgan dollar and eight Ikes worth $8 to me, though probably $10 for some people who do not know that you can get them from many banks for face. The price for this is crazy! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1890-Morgan...778?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ae43e2c82 I hope you enjoyed this post.
The ANACS quarter has been on the bay forever, and has been the subject of past threads here as well; is just one of those things... As for the others, some are simply hoping for a quick bidiot buck. Others such as the one with $50k shipping are most certainly not serious, and are intended to draw eyes to the seller's other listings.
This stuff is fun to look through....but what's funnier is all the sarcastic discussion. I say, yea, make it a "Post a Funny eBay Listing", but I swear, the minute on of mine show up here I'm done!
Here are some "GEM Whizzed" Morgans, I see some that may even be counterfeit I hate how they advertise them as "frosty lustrous uncirculated Gem" or something like that. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1881-P-GEM-BU-MORGAN-SILVER-DOLLAR-/271744494363?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=0OGqvh5XVLXjofPvlDkLMkKA5Yk%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc http://www.ebay.com/itm/141556984675?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT http://www.ebay.com/itm/1900-BU-GEM-MORGAN-SILVER-DOLLAR-COIN-4710-UNC-MS-GENUINE-US-MINT-RARE/171661719233?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=28791&meid=a3afb3e919e54212967a7eeb6fa5a736&pid=100011&rk=1&rkt=10&sd=141556984675 I'm not going to call it a "ripoff" (though some people may think otherwise) but the title is very misleading, if they were silver too, they would be worth more than $60. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-Of-27-S...686?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item339d0aa936 I see other "ripoffs" like a low grade '43 steel cent worth 25 cents at most for almost the price of an UNC Morgan. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1943-LINCOL...87?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3cb5a1ca17
Ya know, I can't fault the guy with the quarter for anything in his description except over hyping the item. I could not do this in good faith but if someone buys it, it will probably pay off his mortgage. But then again, I have a bunch of these, hmmmm....lol.
The OP must not have read the listings, OK the first and last listings were ripoffs but the others? I mean the first one of course that's a 43 copper who would put a 42 or 44 in between two perfectly good 43's, the second one well maybe you need to brush up on your Spanish because he says it's in perfect condition why would I doubt him, and the quarter well that one is slabbed by a reputable company and he said it was unique I mean honestly who can put a price on unique? Those Morgans that's just a sin and a shame, bit a 43 copper, a perfect 41 and the unique quarter those don't come along too often.
This one has been around for quite some time. The video on the bottom is so damn annoying! Guy is a jerk!!http://www.ebay.com/itm/Morgan-Silv...a&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=281584004974&rt=nc
Honestly something I think is funny is how many people watch those items. Not to buy them per say. But probably waiting for the moment when some person does and they can all say "really?"
This item is actually really nice.. but the price is ridiculous!!!http://www.ebay.com/itm/NGC-GRADED-...e&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=111590244807&rt=nc
Oh, that's just a teaser... you know, to get you interested. I see the "Make Offer" button there, so this is what a guy should do: Make an offer of $200.00. He'd probably take it.
