Ha! I put a sunfish in the kiddie pool for the dogs a couple years ago. That was as entertaining for me to watch as it was for them to splash around after it.

Since my main interest is in Canadian Colonial Tokens, my avatar is one of what is referred to as 'Anchor Money' dated 1820 or 1822. This is the 1/4 dollar of the set of 4 pieces, (also including the 1/2, 1/8, 1/16 dollar) catalogued by Napoleon Breton of the province of Quebec, in 1894 as Breton #/s 857-860. Attributed mostly to Mauritius and the British West Indies, it was never intended for Canada, but trade between Canada and the British West Indies brought some of these coins to Canada in a time of need for lower denomination and hard currency, since there was no actual Canadian coinage until 1858.

I think he may have been relieved to get back into the pond later in the afternoon, though.

Mine is a bag toned textile Morgan that displays a beautifully artistic design, enhanced by what looks like a brick wall in the fields and on the cheek. A deep sea bluish green is dancing around the peripherals featuring splashes of gold & purple highlights laced throughout the mesmerizing magenta enchantment, with icy velvet mint luster peeking though to say hello;) MS64 Anacs hotel soap slab.

Mine is a photo of a very fragrant iris in our garden - when I see the photo I remember the fragrance - it's like an anise infused candy smell, and that reminds me of Spring!
