FUN Show report - Toners, Proofs, Prooflikes, and Introducing....

    Physics-fan, I think you did well on the Walkers. I suspect one thing that is holding them back from grading higher than MS65 is the marks in the right obverse field. Each has at least some marks there, but none that I think are overly distracting, making these nice for the grade. (Nice photos also).

    Reading yours and others' reports, I wish I could have made it to FUN. The stars failed to align for me but I am glad others did well.

    The field to the right of the body as well as the length of the body are considered the prime focal points to the WLH. Those tiny marks, though very minute, are going to give you a lot of trouble if you are going to try and upgrade to a 66. Funny thing is though, your secondary fields on the coins are all pretty much fantastic. They are strong and well detailed. I know it is weird how grading works but had the marks been moved to the secondary field rather than where they are now, you could of had three MS 66's and two would of had a decent shot at being 67's.
