Remember how much this board was buzzing before the release of the Hot Springs collector's version puck? Then, a little less with Yellowstone and Yosemite. Now, pretty much nothing at all on here, even with the fact the Grand Canyon coin goes on sale tomorrow. I'm wondering if there is a correlation between the apparent lack of interest here and waning of interest with the puck program in general.
I think silver prices dropping so much has definitely hurt the interest level of these coins. As usual I am going to try and get 3, but definitely can't afford to keep them all so 1 will be sold as soon as I have the last one in my hands... Also the rapid release of so many silver products - i almost forgot about the 2011 SAE proof which I need to get too - geez!
Well, the first three sold out. I'm thinking that the 4th will sell out too. There are too many folks like me that already bought the first three and just had to buy four and five. It may take a little longer but it will sell out. I think that they will lose value with time though but I do like them.
Just too much too fast. It's not like the only numismatic items I collect must have silver in them. Then there is such a thing as spendable income for non essentials, especially a hobby, a vacation and even investments.
