I've been wide awake since 1. I was hoping that some reading would make me sleepy. No dice.
I received my second covid booster shot yesterday. I have a mild fever, chills and a sore arm. Still a small price to pay for security and comfort.

Oh man. Best of luck. My second shot made me quite ill the second day. It was very short lived though. Best of luck.

 

They say the early bird catches the worm. All I got was grey hair for it.

I lost coworkers, had friends and family get seriously ill from covid. Many of then still have lingering conditions.
At the onset of covid here in NYC I volunteered to repair ambulances for the FDNY. As soon as I turned the ignition key on the vehicles dispatch radio would come on. The endless horrors and devastation that I heard is motivation for me to stay on top of preventive inoculation.
