Hi, I came across a 2 gm gold coin or token very recently. Can anyone let me know what it is? Also, there is another coin or token or other such thing made of cast iron (I think). It is uniface and weighs 5 gms.

The obverse `Marianne' looking female may look french, but it does not fit in with the time frame 1777. the reverse doesn't either. Looks 20th Century to me but i have absolutely no idea who made it or why. I've no idea as to what the second item is either. Sorry.

The gold coin is a prop. A few years ago, I stumbled across a site that sold very similar ones: from copper, to gold plated and even some bullion. You could get the "fantasy" pieces from any period.

    As for the other, ?????
