Free samples from the Denver mint...

    When I toured the Denver mint last month, the tour guide gave everyone "free samples" when the tour began. He handed out sealed pouches with a freshie 2016-D cent accompanied by a blank planchet. Not bad for free.

    My wife gave me hers. If a blank planchet isn't a sign of love, then what is?!?

    No wonder pennies cost so much to make. The mint gives them out like its candy on Halloween. Nice score.

    The Mint also gave some out at a coin show once over here in ca
