Yes, you are correct. I was afraid that including some puzzles as example would cause confusion, I am sorry. Yes the main quest right now is to put together a puzzle, code or riddle and PM or Email it to me WITH THE ANSWER. On Sunday, (tommarrow) I'll post up every ones puzzles at once (without the answers) and then the object is to eliminate all the puzzles except your own by correctly figuring them out, the person who submitted the puzzle that goes the longest without getting solved will be awarded the victory for this round and will get points awarded.... I hope this clarifies.. If not please let me know as I don't want anyone left out due to not understanding... If this is not your strong point, don't sweat it, more challenges are ahead that may suite you better!!! Thanks for playing

I strongly suggest you put some kind of limits on the types of codes permitted. I doubt if I am the smartest person here, but it would not be that complicated for me to come up with a code no one here would ever solve. For that matter, no one in the world could solve it with out numerous and voluminous writings.

 

Agreed. I think we'll have a bunch of unbreakable codes without fairly strict parameters.

For example:
1. - answer must be no more than 3 words
2. - answer must be in English
3. - answer must be a numismatic term
4. - only one level of encryption allowed
5. - etc.

This would allow everyone a fair(er) shot at cracking the codes.

I do apoligize, I am sorry for the error, I have consulted the fairness judge(my wife) as well as a couple members and I'll award RLM'S Cents the 10 bonus points the puzzle code, and N Sandler4 will also be awarded 1 bonus points as he was the first to post a link to the answer key!!

Now I will say, I love creativity, so I expect to award quite a few un-expected bonus points as the contest progresses!

I do agree, with your points about the very loose paremters set on this contest... It wasn't as well thought out as it originally appeared and seemed to me. I can see this is going to turn into a nightmare of a contest, if it isn't controlled in some way... I hate to revise rules in the middle of the contest but I see no other way as this is going to get out of hand very quickly. So it is regrettable, but I will put a end to the Riddles and Code portion of this contest and we will move on to the next stage.... Point standings are as previously stated and will carry over into the next stage...
