It's free coin Friday! Who wants a free ancient coin? Well, you can't have one...but you can have six (actually 3, see below). Greek! Roman imperial! Roman provincial! Ancient India and China! Byzantine trachy! 5 of these were coins from my coin display that I wanted to give away to people, but no takers. That made these coins very sad. You should give them a good home to make them feel better. The top right coin is a freebie I got with another coin, so I'll pass it on. Rules: United States only, I don't want to fill out paperwork or pay a bunch of money to give you free coins. Sorry rest of the world, but as you can see...you're not really missing out on much are you? In the pic, I'm showing you the "good side" of the coins. To enter, reply to this thread..... Sorry, you'll have to wait to get it...winner will be drawn at random on Monday the 16th. Item will be shipped whenever I get around to making it to the post office. EDIT: This will be split into two groups of 3, I can't fit all six in the envelopes I have! LOL! I'll pick two names, and give each person 3 of the coins above, chosen at random.
Me...LOL. If I win I will donate some of the coins to a charity that uses ancient coins to teach students, and giveaway the rest to newbies here at random.
The coin at the top right looks pretty interesting. The Chinese cash coin is interesting as well. I don't believe I've seen a cash coin quite like that before. At any rate, all of the coins are historic and interesting in their own way.
Thanks Chrsmat71. I don't know a lot about ancients, but I must say the bottom left coin looks "cool"
Guys, see the edit. I will give away two groups of 3 of the coins above, coins chosen at random. I will draw two names, each winner will receive 3 coins. Sorry, I couldn't cram all six coins in the envelopes I have...and I'm to cheap to go out and buy new packaging! LOL! sorry for the confusion, I doubt if anyone cares...but if anyone who entered wants out just let me know.
