Good to hear Dennis! Too bad we have to be the one's contacting them. It just doesn't seem that hard of a thing to get done and out of the way, this new member registration.

I received a notice from TT, but nothing from ANA

 

Sounds like you were up to the same level of being informed as the rest of us. They indicated that materials have begun shipping Friday (yesterday) and next Monday so hopefully everyone will receive their new member welcome kit in the week ahead. If not send an email inquiry to them at the contact address on their web site, money.org

I e-mailed them for a username and password, and got a reply. I guess they are waiting for us to send an e-mail, then they process the membership. I got to read 'The Numismatist', it's sure a large, classy publication.

 

That does seem to be what it takes for us to get our memberships going, but glad there's something to get us set up. The Numismatist is a great publication that is very well laid out. I mailed off all of my ANA forms for submitting to NGC/NCS/PMG today. Perhaps one of the greatest things about the ANA membership allowing you to submit coins for grading and conservation and paper for grading without being an NGC/NCS/PMG fully member.

Received my ANA Membership materials in the mail and my first issue of the Numismatist as well. Hope you all get yours soon too! :thumb:

It was a limited promotion to only 800 free memberships, announced to TeleTrade customers back in mid-December 2009. Has taken this long to get new members their member kits.

HD: You can view the entire 'Numismatist' online in the Members Only area of money.org using your new registered membership!!! No need for tears! Plus they will be sending out the print issues to you soon enough now that your member card has been despatched. However, you do have the option in your Member profile preferences to 'opt out' of the printed copy, instead taking the eco-friendly electronic version going forward. I immediately choose to do that and have been loving it. You can also register for a free online subscription of Coin World using your new ANA member number and they have an online version of the latest and archived issues available to browse. Good stuff awaits!

ANA membership

Got my membership materials today!!! It is official! We kinda missed out on a month of it though...We were all members during the month of February, our expiration date is 1/31/2010...hey, but who's complaining...we got it FREE!!!! Yea!

 

I mean 2011...oops

 

And don't forget to "re-up" at the end of the one year period guys. It truly is a worthwhile organization that you (we) are all members of.......

Yeah, I figured that this was happening to us by their slow processing of new membership materials. That's why I kept pushing hard to get them to send out materials. I'm glad everyone is getting their ANA #s and welcome kits. :hammer:
