    What is this exactly?

    https://www.govmint.com/2017-100-dollar-5-gram-silver-benjamin-franklin-replica-currency-proof
    • Measures 6-1/8" x 2-9/16"
    • "Normal" $100 is 156 mm x 66.3 mm (~6.14" x ~2.61") Wikipedia
    • Picture below makes the "currency strike" look MUCH smaller than a standard $100...?

"Struck -- not printed -- in 99.9% pure silver and weighing in at five grams, this paper-thin 2017 $100 Benjamin Franklin Silver Currency Strike™ is the very first of its kind. Never before has a currency proof been struck in such exact detail!"

Its 5 grams of silver bullion. Get your wallet ready for a shock though. They typically only contain 5 grains

Please, don't be fooled by this one, unless you are into collecting such item. And if you are seeing it as some sort of investment - RUN! You will never see a return on your investment unless silver hits $1,000 an ounce. And maybe not even then.

HSN is always selling these on their coin shows. That ought to be enough for a wise man to steer clear.

Well 5 grams of silver is worth almost $2.75.
They are selling this for $29.95 and less $29.07 by wire.
