  3. Yep, now I CAN see it plain as day. DARN I should have got that one LOL! Thanks for following up on those photos CBD, not a bad looking coin at all, congrats!!!!

    I'll always be among the first to say that different pictures can and will show you different things. But no picture can show you something that is not there at all.

    Granted, CBD's pic does not show you the separation of the end of the serif on that L. But this one sure does -

    - and mechanical doubling cannot produce that.

    I believe it's an optical illusion caused by lighting. See the F in HALF? Same thing, but at all angles with a 40x loupe, there's no doubling there.
