I understand that certain coins in the series may carry a premium over other because of their lower mintages, but I would also think 10 years from now when the series is over, whoever has put together a complete set will have a valuable collection....and not just the gold value. Its like the 1995-1996 Olympic comms. Some coins carry a premium over others in the set, but having a complete set is not only hard to find, but financially rewarding. Try finding a complete 16 coin unc set in the box for less than 3k or the complete 32 coin set for less than 5k. Years ago, I bought the 16 coin proof set for $1200. Now you don't see them less than $1600. Maybe occasionally you will find a deal, but not often.

Elaine, you hit on a very interesting issue...... do you: A. Buy all the low mintage FS coins and don't worry about trying to make a complete set and bet on a high return for those coins. OR B. Try putting together a complete proof and unc set If you are going to be buying 2 and 3 of the same FS coins, seems like you would try to put together a complete set as well.
