    8 expected to ship 7-16.......

Also saw in Coin World that theres a good chance for the 2010 "LIBERTY" coin to feature the FLYING EAGLE CENT (not penny).....if that comes true look for a quick sell out. I'll be in for as many as I can get.....but I imagine they would place a limit on these.

for me. i won't buy any modern coins slabbed as ms70 or proof70 for a huge premium attached. because all of my coins were bought directly from the mint. all were bought immediately. i should said first strike, first day issue, etc. and all were well preserved. they all look like newly bought. that's include all the clean package, case, holder, c.o.a., certificate and coins. i am sure many of my coins were proof 70 and ms 70. the lowest might be proof 68/69 and ms 68/69. and i am happy with that. why waste money to slab it?.

I thought that first strikes had to be in sealed box?

imagine everybody can easily get ms70 or proof70. that will be a lot but not rare. the prices for those common ms70 and proof70 in the future will be crushed.

I don't keep 70's.....well not many anyway. As soon as I get them they are on the Bay for 3-7 days.....ain't no use to hold 'em now is it.

even you doesn't keep those 70's. because you are smart. that's mean a lot of newcomers or people unaware of keep buying 70's at high premium. they thought they gonna make a huge profit in the future. just the they owned a rare ms70's old coin that worth a lot of money.

That is an angle that I have not explored. Do you make a lot on that?

the price of proof vs unc for spouses gold is not so much. and in most cases. they are the same. but for the american eagle gold unc vs: proof. the gap is around 40%. did you guys realize that?. why the proof version for american gold premium is high?. anyone?.

Elaine, I see gold dropping so I will hold off a week and see what it does. I hope it drops below $900. Can you keep us posted? I was really looking forward to July 1st to buy these, but this week has been crazy and I totally forgot. I only remembered when I saw your posts. Thanks. Joe

it is much safer to buy the mint gold products at gold below $900.00. because the mint really charge us at very high premium. the price chart created when the gold premium is high. but now the dealers lower the premium on gold and silver. the mint should lower it price chart at least one bracket. two bracket lower is what the mint charge us before.

Elaine, I looked back at my records and only once did the price drop below the $900 mark since the new pricing. As much as I hope that it will drop below $900, I will be really surprised if it does. I have been wrong before, and I hope I am wrong about this.

why the mint have to limit 10 pc per family on its first week offer?. the mint is playing different ways against collectors.
